About Rev. Cat

Rev. Cat Cox, M.A.T., M.Div. is a an ordained Unitarian Universalist community minister. Her ministry of spiritual guidance, The Path of Joy: Awakening~Alignment~Action, has been supporting individuals, couples, clergy, congregations and leaders nationwide in discerning the Call of Spirit and living their best lives now for over 25 years.

Rev. Cat is a graduate of the University of Pacific (B.A.) Starr King School for the Ministry (M.Div) and the University of California, Berkeley (M.A.T.) and holds three California teaching credentials from San Jose State University.

She has been a presenter at numerous Unitarian Universalist Association District Assemblies and General Assemblies, as well as for the UU Ministers Association, most frequently for her work in Conflict Resolution Benefitting Everyone and Collaborative Decision Making. She is a Past-President of the UU Society for Community Ministries and is a co-author of Spiritual Guidance Across Religions. Her community ministry was affiliated with the UU Church of Berkeley for 17 years.

Rev. Cat is a certified Practitioner of Non-Violent Communication (Bay Area NVC). She is a Fellow of the National Writing Project and is a recipient of the Margaret Fuller Award of the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Association.

Rev. Cat is currently an Affiliated Community Minister of the Center for Spiritual Living, in Redding, CA.

Her services are available both in person and by Zoom.

A native San Franciscan, Rev. Cat has returned to the beauty and spiritual renewal of The Palace of Fine Arts and the city throughout her life.
